San Antonio Fertility Expert, Summer James, MD, is Board Certified in Reproductive Medicine

Summer James, MDWith more than a decade of experience in resolving infertility, Dr. Summer James directs clinical care at Texas Fertility Center-San Antonio. Board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology /Infertility, Dr. James brings her patients compassionate care coupled with innovative approaches to solving the most complex infertility cases.

Dr. James’ award winning research and published work reflects her passion for the successful treatment of infertility; particularly in the areas of ovarian dysfunction, polycystic ovarian syndrome and minimally invasive fertility surgery. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio Northern University, and earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine.

Dr. James performed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Akron General Medical Center where she served as Academic Chief Resident. She subsequently performed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston before transitioning into private practice. Dr. James maintains membership in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society.
