Dr. Propst and the staff at Texas Fertility Center are by far the BEST in Central Texas.

I started writing this review several times, and I really could not figure out how to properly formulate the exact description of just how wildly talented and amazing of an RE Dr. Propst proved himself to be.

My husband and I interviewed 3 Reproductive Endocrinologists & Infertility Specialists prior to deciding to work with Dr. Propst. All of them came highly recommended from personal referrals (including Dr. P) and all are at the top of their game in the IVF community. We were probably 15 minutes into our consultation with Dr. P when I knew he would be the one I chose. He has a brilliant resume and is extremely well studied. After all he did complete his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital – Harvard Medical School. He was also the Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, and a former Chief Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Add to that his calm-practical personality and you have exactly what you need to start this incredibly difficult yet rewarding task.

Being diagnosed with “unexplained-infertility” is a difficult pill to swallow. The infertility road can be extremely long. Finding true partners along the way is essential to: #1 the end goal of a healthy baby, and #2 maintaining your sanity throughout the process. Dr. Propst explained everything perfectly and numerous times if needed. He laid out a concise plan to start the process of conceiving after listening to our history, my concerns, and our overall desires. I would not change one single step out of the millions we had to take.

The IVF process is long, stressful, expensive, and at times downright overwhelming. You need a hero of a Doctor and staff on your team to make the parts that “can be controlled” as smooth as possible. Dr. Propst and TFC did just that for our family. I saw him at almost every single appointment over the course of a year and a half. I believe there was only one time when I saw one of his partners. Dr. Propst preforms all his own ultrasounds and is a brilliant surgeon. Quite a few of my IVF friends told me horror stories of how miserable they felt after the egg retrieval. When I was in post-op after mine I felt just as perfect as when I went in, and I had zero issues afterwards as well.

I still remember how confident he was prior to our FET (frozen embryo transfer). He said, “I think you are really going to like having a son.” Sure enough, 9 days later we found out we were pregnant after 4 years of disappointment. Now that our journey has ended with the birth of our perfectly healthy beautiful son… I count my blessings… on what feels like an hourly basis. One of those blessings is Dr. Propst and TFC.

If you are starting down one of the most important roads you will ever travel I highly recommend Dr. Propst and The Texas Fertility Center. Also know there are millions of women just like you, and one day you will hold a precious little baby that is already promised to you. If I could give Dr. Propst a million stars I would. Five seems like such a minimal number when someone makes you a Mom. (Ephesians 2:14)
