

About Charla Holmes
“I am so blessed to do what I love for a living,” Holmes said. “I am allowed a close and personal look into the lives of so many people. My clients almost always become life’ long friends. I am still blown away by every chance to capture special moments in a person’s life and then turn them into pieces of art they will treasures for a lifetime.
Holmes has received numerous honors and awards over the years. Members of the Texas Professional Photographers awarded her prestigious Texas Fellowship award and the Professional Photographer of America has selected her as an instructor of programs around the country. In 1996, the International Professional Photographer Guild named her Family Photographer of the Year. More recently, Holmes was featured in a book,” Family Portraiture” by Helen Boursier, published by Amherst Press.
Holmes received her Master’s Degree in Photography from the Professional Photographers of America. Over the years, she has submitted prints to be judged by Professional photographers from all over the country, which- after taking a professional certification exams-have accumulated to merit her the Masters” Degree.
Charla Holmes is a true community partner, as she believes in giving back to those communities that support her business. She cheerfully donates auction items to help raise money for charitable and community organizations.
“I thank God every day for giving me the opportunity to do what I do for a living,” Holmes said. ” And I want to share what I can with others.”
