Fertility Care for Veterans

Our San Antonio, Round Rock and Austin fertility center teams make IVF accessible to wounded warriors with new SART program

When our nation’s soldiers are injured in the line of duty, programs exist for vocational rehabilitation, disability compensation and health benefits. What is missing, however, is coverage for in vitro fertilization (IVF). We help by providing fertility care for veterans.

Our Texas Fertility Center physicians have a long history of advocating for a change in federal IVF policies. Our doctors have always offered significant clinical care discounts to active and retired members of the U.S. military.

This Veteran’s Day, TFC joins forces with SART to offer a Service to Veterans. This program further discounts IVF and related services and raises awareness for the need for a federal policy change.

TFC is proud to offer Fertility Care to Veterans

43815843_sDr. Anthony Propst, retired United States Air Force Colonel, is the lead physician at our Round Rock office. He devoted his medical and military career to resolving infertility and improving the lives of patients. He worked at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio; Keesler USAF Medical Center in Biloxi; and the National Institutes of Health-Uniformed Services University in Bethesda.

“From day one, TFC has stood by our nation’s heroes returning from active duty and families separated by active duty deployment,” says Dr. Propst. “We commit to take every action possible to remove financial and physical hurdles that stand in the way of a family for members of the U.S. military.”

In addition to the new SART commitment introduced on Veterans Day 2015, our Austin fertility center offers:

  • 50% off TFC physician fees for self-pay military patients
  • Access to Compassionate Care fertility drug discounts (25-75%) for uninsured, active and retired military
  • Access to Compassionate Corps – free fertility drugs to uninsured, medically retired military (and spouses) with fertility impairing injuries
