Allison Petrini MD diagnoses and treats complex causes of infertility to help build families
Allison Petrini MD is a Texas native who is proud to treat the women and men who live in her home state. This Austin fertility doctor grew up outside of Houston and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. There, she graduated Alpha Omega Alpha. She then moved to New York City to pursue training in women’s healthcare.
Following medical school, Dr. Petrini completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital through Weill Cornell Medical College. During that time, she also served as administrative chief resident. Based on her exemplary performance in residency, she was accepted into the elite Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship program at the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College.

Throughout her education and training, Allison Petrini MD received multiple awards, including Gold Humanism Honor Society, the Jerome Seiler Memorial Award for Excellence in Pelvic Surgery and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award. She also earned multiple teaching awards.
This Austin fertility doctor is the author of numerous scientific publications, and her research has been featured at many national and international conferences. She has been the recipient of several research awards, including the Society of Reproductive Surgeons In-Training Award for Research and the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Prize Paper Winner.
