Dr. Vaughn received exceptional medical education and training
A native of Dallas, Thomas Vaughn MD earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
He went to medical school and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Our Austin fertility doctor attended the Duke University Medical Center to earn his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Thomas Vaughn M.D. has always been a trailblazer in infertility
Dr. Vaughn founded TFC in 1980 and he has been helping patients become parents at our fertility center of Austin ever since. In his role as an Austin fertility doctor, he provides infertility diagnoses and develops fertility treatment plans that include basic and advanced options.

Our Austin fertility doctor founded Austin’s only in vitro fertilization program at St. David’s Hospital and has served as the president of medical staff at Seton Hospital. He is also a researcher whose findings have helped improve the practice of reproductive medicine.
