Facebook Founder is Right, Misconceptions About Miscarriage are Prevalent, Says Recent Study 

No one was surprised that Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg, would use Facebook to announce that he and his wife were expecting a baby. The surprise came when he divulged their pregnancy difficulties, revealing that his wife had three prior miscarriages.

Zuckerberg stated in his Facebook message that many people do not discuss miscarriages because they feel guilty that they did something to cause it. A research report published in June 2015 confirms his statement and highlights the poor public awareness around miscarriage.
