Matthew VerMilyea, PHD Ovation Fertility

Ashley and Patrick Sullivan are expecting a baby, but getting pregnant was a long journey through multiple rounds of fertility treatment. Thankfully, the Sullivans chose Texas Fertility Center to perform their IVF cycles, where they got to be part of a special study by Ovation® Fertility, the company that owns and operates TFC’s IVF laboratory.

The study evaluated intended parents’ response to new time-lapse videos captured inside a special incubator while their embryos developed in the laboratory. At the same time, a separate and groundbreaking study of new artificial intelligence technology assessed whether computers can be successfully used to grade the quality of embryos prior to transfer.

“Having the emails and the videos made a huge difference,” says Ashley Sullivan. “You feel like you were a part of it.”
