Texas Fertility Center Announces the 1,000th IVF Cycle for San Antonio IVF

San Antonio, Texas (October 2, 2018) – Texas Fertility Center (TFC), a renowned leader in the field of reproductive medicine, is proud to announce an exciting achievement for its San Antonio laboratory. San Antonio IVF has performed its 1,000th IVF cycle.

This isn’t the first major milestone for San Antonio IVF. Earlier this year, the world-class IVF laboratory performed its 1,000th embryo vitrification (VIT) procedure, which is an advanced embryo freezing process that significantly improves pregnancy rates. The lab should also perform its 1,000th frozen embryo transfer (FET) in early-2019.

According to Kaylen Silverberg MD, the medical director of Texas Fertility Center, “The teams at Texas Fertility Center and San Antonio IVF always put the patient first while working to advance the art and science of reproductive medicine. 1,000 IVF cycles is a huge milestone for a laboratory that started from scratch only a few years ago.”

The state-of-the-art laboratory offers comprehensive embryology and andrology services, including embryo biopsy and preimplantation genetic testing. It also includes a full-service andrology laboratory in New Braunfels. As a result, San Antonio IVF produces pregnancy and delivery rates that are among the best in the nation.

“It takes a village to help men and women overcome infertility. Our reproductive endocrinologists, nurses, embryologists, andrologists and geneticists all collaborate for the good of our patients. We also appreciate our partnership with the Methodist Healthcare System as well as the many local OB/GYNs who trust us with the care of their patients,” Dr. Silverberg says.
