Austin Fertility Clinic Helps Soldiers Battling Infertility


MlitaryawardAustin, Texas – March 15, 2012– The U.S. Department of the Army awarded Dr. Kaylen M. Silverberg, M.D., and Texas Fertility Center a Certificate of Appreciation for “selfless and dedicated service” to female soldiers within the Fort Hood area.

“We are very grateful to the United States Armed Forces, particularly the Fort Hood community served by our Austin and Round Rock centers,” said Dr. Silverberg. “Texas Fertility Center recognizes and appreciates the tremendous sacrifices made by our women and men in uniform, and believes that they deserve state of the art, affordable care that is available when they need it.”

Many service people – both men and women – have limited access to fertility services.  They must either wait for availability within the military medical system, or pay on their own for a consultation in the private sector.


For more than 30 years, Texas Fertility Center has provided comprehensive fertility care, including surgical treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids, ovulation induction, and in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

Dr. Silverberg and the entire TFC staff feel pride in giving back to the men and women of the armed forces, and meeting the unique needs of deployed soldiers.
