Dr. Silverberg spoke to KXAN about COVID-19 transmission during pregnancy

The number of COVID-19 cases is rising around the United States, and more pregnant mothers are worrying about their babies. Now a small Italian study has suggested that COVID-19 transmission during pregnancy is possible, but do we need to worry. KXAN interviewed Kaylen Silverberg MD to learn his thoughts on the study.

Dr. Silverberg explained that the Italian study of 31 women is too small, so we need more data about COVID-19 and babies in the womb. However, he did stress that pregnant women should take precautions to avoid the virus.
