With COVID-19 in the news so much, many expectant parents have questions about the coronavirus and pregnant women. Mainly, how will the virus affect their prenatal care and delivery plans? Health interviewed Kaylen Silverberg MD, our Austin fertility doctor, and other experts to set the record straight.

Although some prenatal appointments might move online to protect patients, hospitals and doctors are still prepared to care for pregnant women. Even if the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise, there’s no reason why pregnant women won’t be able to safely proceed with a planned hospital birth.
