Weekend and Holiday Fertility Blood Draws

Making care more convenient with weekend and holiday fertility blood draws

On your fertility journey with Texas Fertility Center (TFC), you will need regular bloodwork to monitor your progress. Most treatments have strict timelines that are determined by your cycle, not the calendar. This means that you may need to have bloodwork on a weekend or holiday.

To ensure you receive the timely fertility care you need, our Central Austin fertility clinic offers weekend and holiday fertility blood draws. These in-house fertility blood draws offer convenience both for you and your physician.

Why is weekend and holiday bloodwork helpful?

Fertility treatments, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) and egg freezing, require careful precision. The timing of the stimulation injections, trigger shot and egg retrieval procedure must occur at exactly the right time. Monitoring bloodwork helps each step stay on track.

Depending on the timing of your treatment cycle, some of your monitoring appointments might fall on a holiday or a weekend. Coming a day early or a day later typically isn’t an option when it comes to fertility treatment. This is why we offer in-house fertility blood draws on these days.

If you have questions or would like to learn more about fertility treatment options at our Austin fertility clinic, we would love to assist you. We invite you to contact us today.

Fertility bloodwork allows reproductive endocrinologists to monitor your response to medications for treatments, such as IVF and egg freezing. It can also let your physician know when your eggs are ready for a trigger shot and then egg retrieval.

Depending on the timing of your treatment cycle, you may sometimes need to have fertility bloodwork done on a holiday or a weekend. Texas Fertility Center offers in-house monitoring at our Central Austin location on weekends and holidays.

Typically, you should have fertility bloodwork done on the recommended day in your treatment cycle. Otherwise, you can jeopardize your fertility treatment success.
