Texas Fertility Center supports an ongoing effort to keep children and teens in Central Texas warm each fall and winter
Coats for Kids, a program of the Junior League of Austin, outfits children in need with new or gently used winter coats
Last year alone, the program brought in 30,282 coats, and helped make a difference in the Central Texas community. Texas Fertility Center participates in Coats for Kids by making financial contributions, as well as providing enthusiastic volunteers at the distribution center. Our fertility doctors, nurses and office team enjoy lending a hand to sort and distribute coats each year.
This important project ensures that many of the most needy children in Central Texas will be able to have a coat in time for winter.
One young mother served by the Coats for Kids event at the Palmer Center last year said in a KVUE interview: “A good coat [for my kids] is up to $30 in the store, and that’s money that can go toward our electric bill, our water bill, our groceries…”
Texas Fertility Center is proud to continue our tradition of partnering with leading organizations such as the Junior League of Austin to better the lives of children and families in the Austin community.
