Fertility Advocacy Day

TFC participates in fertility advocacy throughout the year

Fertility advocacy is important to the physicians at our Austin fertility center. Our fertility specialists are committed to raising awareness about infertility and making fertility care more accessible to the men and women who need it. In addition to the advocacy that our physicians perform every day, the Texas Fertility Center team also participates in RESOLVE Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C., each year.

Fertility advocacy at the local, state and national levels

Even if you can’t attend RESOLVE Advocacy Day, you can still have your voice heard on Capitol Hill – and it’s as simple as adding your name. Send your name to Washington here.

The team at our Austin fertility center is proud to help the men and women who visit us for fertility care, but physicians also strive to help other individuals and couples who are struggling with infertility throughout Austin, Texas and the United States. This is why fertility advocacy is so important at Texas Fertility Center.

Our physicians partner with organizations in our community to advance fertility education and advocacy at a local level. In addition, our physicians lobby for legislative reform at the state and national levels that will make it easier for men and women to pursue affordable fertility treatment. For example, our fertility specialists played an important role in passing Texas’ sperm, egg and embryo donation laws to make third party reproduction more accessible.

Fertility advocacy at RESOLVE Advocacy Day

Our Austin fertility center physicians also partner with RESOLVE each May for Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. Nonprofits and special interest groups come together each year to talk to Congress about important issues in the infertility community. During the two-day event, attendees take part in an evening networking reception, morning advocate training and all-day meetings on Capitol Hill. The goal of this event is to stand together to improve fertility care and accessibility.

Kaylen Silverberg MD attends each year on behalf of our Austin fertility center. Because of his involvement with the event and his prestige in the fertility community, he is well-connected with lawmakers from Texas. Using his influence and knowledge, Dr. Silverberg lobbies for change for fertility patients around the United States.
